MAKE A DONATION TOWARDS FAB's CAPITAL CAMPAIGN:

FAB has launched a Capital Campaign valued at $25.8 million to purchase and renovate six cultural buildings on East 4th Street.  Thanks to the generous contribution of the City of New York, FAB's member organizations  will be acquiring the six cultural buildings for the nominal sum of $1 each.  The City's donation of real estate amounts to a contribution of at least $20 million!!!  We owe a debt of thanks to the Bloomberg Administration, the NYC Dept. of Housing Preservation and Development and the NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs for making this cultural district project possible. 

As of June, 2004, FAB has raised over $3.1 million in financial commitments from public and private sources.  Combined with the in kind contribution of the City of New York, the capital campaign has raised over $23 million in commitments, bringing us nearly 90% of the way towards our goal.

We ask you to help FAB raise the remaining $2.7 million we need.  With your help, we can make our exciting Cultural District Plan a tremendous success story for downtown New York City, and a model for other NYC communities and other cities to replicate.
