Please join Artist Director Zainab Musa and the community of The Actors Playground for an open studio experience. We will have an artist talk about the state of performing arts in New York City.
From 1pm, we will engage in a mini writing workshop where members will be invited to create a character or explore how to write a monologue. From 2:30pm, come practice an on camera audition that you have been working on, there will be a basic camera set up for community members to bring their phones and troubleshoot their existing audition practice. No practice? No problem! Come ask questions at this open house.
From 3-5pm, Cooper Square Committee will also be tabling outside on East 4th Street Open Street with information on affordable housing development and anti-displacement campaigns.
