Jeanne Hill, Open Arts LES Sound Technician

Jeanne Hill is a Brooklyn-based bassist, electroacoustic composer, vocalist, producer and audio engineer. She is a graduate from Oberlin College with a double major in Music and English; a minor in Cinema studies. The throughline in her engineering work, listening habits, and artistic aspirations is deep listening practices and improvisational response. Embracing music, as an embodied practice, she works to bring out textural elements in her vocalizations/ electroacoustic performance; to cultivate attentiveness, patience, and collaboration as an audio engineer and producer.
