Messages to Go: Artist Talk and Closing Reception

Downtown Art 70 E 4th Street, New York

This December, FABnyc invites Hatuey Ramos-Fermín and owners of local small businesses to share their work, stories, and experiences at Downtown Art to close Messages to Go, an art project by Ramos-Fermín that produces, designs, and distributes a series of reusable shopping bags based on conversations and interviews with local small business owners.

After the talk, we will host a reception with snacks provided by Rossy’s Bakery and Coffee Shop at which La Sirena and Dual Specialty will have items available for sale to take away in the bags designed for Messages to Go.

Join us in celebrating small businesses and the ongoing work of artists in support of thriving communities like ours!
