Doomsday Meditators present Chaos Lavender, an evening of queer performances that range from a gentle hum to a wild abandonment. We will bring some poetry, stories, short scenes, dance and more.
Doomsday Meditators is the co-writing team for Doomsday Meditation, a devised theatrical production that premiered at WOW Cafe Theater in 2021. Doomies Bleu Zephra Santiago, Ileana R. Marin, Jasmina Jz Sinanovic, Jessica Cermak and Lorraine La Prade–who have worked together on previous WOW productions, including the devised performance Resilience–teamed up to tell a story about finding hope and humanity at the end of the world. With each adaptation of the production, the core quintet collaborates with other artists who have helped the project evolve from a play to a universe.
