Dear Community,
I want to pause to send you a note of thanks.
The work we do in the Lower East Side is often long-term and the difference we make can be slow-moving and incremental. But every once in a while, something changes in a very definite way.
FAB was just involved with such a change — and it seems right to mark it and to share it with you, because you’re part of this story.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to make ‘It’s Our Park Day’ at the Stanton Building a success! Our photo albums have more from the afternoon street fest and the evening projections.
We’re working with the Stanton Building Task Force to advocate for the return and re-opening of the building for community use. Local residents have been advocating for this for years — yet the NYC Parks Department continues to keep the building as a boarded up storage site.
Please join with your LES neighbors and sign our petition!

Saturday & Sunday October 20 & 21st on East 4th Street.

Thank you to all who joined us on Saturday September 15th for an successful afternoon and evening.
